Wave Bioreactor

Wave Bioreactor is a new system for cell culture, In this method, cell culture is done in a disposable plastic bag placed on a platform. This platform moves at a specific frequency and angle. This shaking motion mixes the culture fluid inside the cell bag and efficiently transfers oxygen without cutting or bubbling.

Under normal operating conditions with a speed of 15 to 30 rpm and an angle of 4 to 7 degrees, stirring the bioreactor creates a shear stress wave in the range of 0.005-0.06 Pa.
